Machine Learning Engineer (all gender) - Full Remote

We want to support our customers in the best possible way with their DIY projects, which we can achieve through intelligent data products, among other things. That is why, in addition to Data Analytics and Data Engineering, we are now building a dedicated Data Science team. • Building inhouse AI & ML Solutions: Realization of in-house AI and machine learning solutions to drive business value.
• Conceptualization & Architecture: Elaboration of technical concepts for AI and machine learning solutions based on specific business requirements and issues.
• Prototyping & Evaluation: Implementation and evaluation of technical concepts as quick MVPs to identify the most promising approaches.
• Development & Production: Development of stable, scalable, and production-ready implementations of the chosen AI solutions.
• Operations & Maintenance: Continuous review, optimization, and maintenance of the realized AI and machine learning services.
  

• Education & Professional Experience: Successfully completed Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or a comparable field, paired with 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• AI & ML Expertise: Strong knowledge of classical as well as state-of-the-art AI and machine learning techniques and their practical applications.
• Software Engineering: Extensive programming experience, particularly in Python, combined with solid practical expertise in Agentic Engineering.
• Team Culture & Work Ethic: Structured, self-reflective approach with strong collaboration skills and an eagerness to create value for the company.
• Language Skills: Fluent English (C1) proficiency for seamless and efficient communication within the department.
• Bonus Qualifications (Nice-to-Have): Prior experience in the e-commerce sector as well as hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS are highly beneficial.
